Welcome to the online home of Troop in Greenfield MA. We are a member of the Metacomet District in the Western Massachusetts Council, and chartered by the Franklin County Agricultural Society.
Troop 5 is open to all youth ages 11-18 (Grades 6+). For younger youth 5-11 (grades K-5) please check out our Cub Scout Pack, Pack 3!
Troop 5 has existed in Greenfield for over 95 years and is still going strong by the interest of youth like your own and adults who believe in the program. We meet on Monday Nights at 7:00pm at Camp Avery Scout Camp in Greenfield. Our scouting year follows the school year. During the summer break we stay active with summer camp and other activities!
We have scouts from all over Franklin county including Greenfield, Turners, Bernardston, Sunderland, Shelburne, Northfield, Colrain, Deerfield and even Vermont! Come on by and try a meeting or two and see what we are all about!
